Aglow Aviation joins Cargo iQ

In September, Nigerian aviation services provider Aglow Aviation Support Services joined the Cargo iQ community.

Aglow’s daughter company, Aglow Air, was recently incorporated as a dedicated cargo airline. Operating as an unscheduled carrier out of Lagos, the airline serves Nigeria and the West and Central African sub-regions with dedicated last-mile cargo flight services.

“As new entrants into the cargo sector, our decision to be a part of Cargo iQ was based on our desire to benchmark our operations and processes with global best practices from day one,” said Tayo Ojuri, Managing Director, Aglow Aviation Support Services.

“Being in a community that includes members representing all players in the cargo value chain is an invaluable opportunity to access data that assists with the continuous measuring, monitoring, and improvement of our process.

“Our goal at Aglow Cargo is to bridge the gap and proffer solutions to the increased need for air cargo in the logistics value chain in West and Central Africa. We want to be the company of choice for seamless delivery experiences.

“We are confident that our membership with Cargo iQ will equip us with the tools and collaborations we need to achieve our goal.”

Air cargo demand is expected to increase in Nigeria and West and Central Africa as the international transportation of temperature-controlled goods and cross border e-commerce continue to grow.

Aglow Aviation is poised to meet the increasing requirements for airfreight across the region.
