Welcome to the April 2019 inSight!

Welcome to our April 2019 inSight!

We bring you this newsletter in the midst of exciting times at Cargo iQ following a whirlwind two months of, for instance, attending the World Cargo Symposium (WCS) in Singapore, announcing Royal Air Maroc, presenting the successful results of trialling our new SME Solution as a new member, and having an exciting election of new board members with a record numbers of new candidates.

The next couple of months will be busy for the Cargo iQ team as we organise our next working group and attend several events, such as the CNS Partnership Conference in Miami, a member’s Cargo Forum in Paris, the Multimodal conference in Birmingham, and Air Cargo Europe in Munich.

At IBS’ Cargo Forum in Paris, from 7 through 9 May, we will recognise their recent CDMP certification and discuss what this means for IBS customers.

Our Working Group will take place from 14 through 16 May in Prague, where the next stage of the Q Rally will be celebrated and a new approach to the focused delivery of projects will be introduced.

Cargo iQ will be at the IATA Ground Handlers Conference in Madrid on 28 May, followed by Cargo iQ Introductory Training on 29 May.

And finally, the team is gearing up for Air Cargo Europe in Munich in June – so if you’re there, make sure that we meet and discuss how to best use Cargo iQ solutions and quality standards.

Read more about Cargo iQ’s success at the WCS in the next story of this newsletter.

To understand the importance of quality standards in air cargo, refer to this newsletter’s guest column by Hans Helmkamp from Hellman Worldwide Logistics, who shares his extensive knowledge of the industry.

As always, if you have any questions, tips, or remarks about Cargo iQ, don’t hesitate to contact me at zimmermana@iata.org
